The Swot Shop teaching method

starYour child is assessed during their first session. From this we create an appropriate work scheme, individually tailored to your child's abilities. During the second lesson your child receives their own package of materials which have been individually selected to suit their needs.

starFollowing a successful monitoring period, during which time we confirm that the materials are ideally suited, your child will then be set appropriate homework.

starThroughout the term we monitor your child’s progress closely to make sure that the work is still appropriate to their individual abilities.

starWe encourage parents to speak to the teacher regularly for updates on a child's progress (usually every 5-6 weeks).

Our teaching staff

starAll our teachers are fully qualified, experienced teachers who are registered with the Department for Employment and Education. (We do not employ graduates without a teaching qualification or student teachers.)

starWe emphasise individual attention and guarantee a ratio of no more than 5 pupils to each member of staff.
