Tests can be very stressful for children

• Remember that, unlike some exams, pupils don't pass or fail SATs - they are simply a measure of their current level, so try to keep them in perspective.

The Swot Shop SATs classes

We have developed our SATs revision programme to give children the opportunity to improve their scores in the most important areas that are tested in English and Maths. Our programme is aimed at National Curriculum levels 4 and 5.

One of our students has just completed her KS2 SATs with very respectable marks. Her teachers say there's been a noticeable and steady improvement in her English and maths. Yet, six months ago this student was struggling to keep up in class and was gradually losing confidence. So, six months ago her mother enrolled her at Swot Shop. Now her daughter is happier, motivated, and has every chance of reaching her potential.

Our courses feature:

• Exam type questions covering the major components of the Maths and English tests.
• Stand alone revision sessions, although pupils may do some supplementary work and all the materials used in the session can be taken home afterwards.
• The teacher explains what the examiners are looking for in particular test questions as well as the marking schemes.

This course is aimed at Level 4 and Level 5 National Curriculum in Mathematics.
